Air Fare Hacking

In years past I was "Premier Exec" (50,000 miles) on United Airlines. Knowing the airline mileage game, when it is not inconvenient I book a longer multi-leg trip if the price is comparable. This allows for more miles, in case I would start frequent travel again. In 2012, I made a mileage run vacation to qualify for Premier Silver. In 2013, I took mini vacations with mileage runs that totaled about 115,000 flight miles. In 2014, I am going to spend more going where I want, when I want.

United Mileage Plus 1K, Dinner & Reading

Leaving San Diego commuter airport, this flight took me over 100,000 paid miles on United Airlines. With awards and flying on other airlines, I am at ~115,000 miles for 2013.

Electronics during the entire flight allows for nice pictures.

Later that evening, CPU up front with cold dinner.

Read How Good Do We Have to Be? by Harold Kushner. Good, though somewhat rambling, book about guilt. The author tied in family and the Bible. Worthwhile read for just about everyone.
